Khao Kadong (Buriram) Golf Club
Situated approximately 2 kilometers past the I-Mobile Football Stadium, on the road to Prakhon Chai, this 9 hole course is within the grounds of the local Army Base.
Whilst never going to threaten the likes of “Augusta”, the course has improved considerably over the last couple of years and provides a test for all levels of player. It’s not recommended for the faint hearted either as you will find on the second hole, a par here is considered a result!
Best tee-off times are between 6.30 am to 8.00 am as the day gets very hot towards noon, so taking plenty of liquid with you is advised.
However, there is a well stocked refreshment station after the 4th hole, serving a wide range of ice cold drinks including beers, and a variety of snacks.
Membership is very reasonable at 1800 Baht for the first year, dropping to 1500 Baht for the second year and so on. This entitles the member to play every day of the year including weekends and holidays, for a fee of 300 Baht per 18 holes.
Non Members can play for 380 Baht per 18 holes during the week with an additional charge for weekends and holidays.
