Buriram’s Walking Street Market which is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm until 10.30pm will be open this Monday (May 7) from 12noon until 10pm in honour of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet’s visit to Buriram for one of their “on the road” cabinet meetings.
As the name suggests, the road is closed to traffic so people are free to browse the huge variety of goods on offer, from tasty kebabs to handmade jewellery. It is situated on Rom Buri Road , opposite the Bamboo Bar. (The first part of the road is always open to traffic).
As mentioned before, there is a large selection of local food on offer and very often live music.
Well-worth a visit !
