With over two weeks passing after the sad loss of Neil Cameron, his close friends have arranged a “celebration” of his life, particularly his time in Buriram, on Tuesday June 7th. It will be held in Neil’s spiritual (no pun intended) home, the Bamboo Bar.

There will be a meal and the Bamboo Bar’s resident duo will also be playing. The word “celebration” is key to what this event is for. We’ve had the sadness and the tears, so this get-together is for what Neil was all about , having a laugh and a damn good time.

We will be encouraging everyone to get up with the band and “have a go, ” which even Neil did once, but more about that on the day. It’s not about how good you are, it’s about having a laugh, even if it’s at yourself.

“Tickets” are 500 bht a head which covers food and entertainment. The lovely Bamboo girls will be there to add a bit of glamour to the occasion.

The afternoon kicks- off between 1 to 1.30pm and will finish no later than 5pm.

It would help the organizers greatly if you could let either myself (dressergraham@yahoo.com) or Pete Dempsey (buriramgolfsociety@gmail.com ) know if you intend attending the function asap.

For the golfers among you, the Buriram Golf Society will be having their usual Tuesday get-together and everyone is welcome, regardless of ability. Please meet at Buriram Golf Course no later than 7am.
