Fees for Single Entry Tourist Visas for Thailand have been waived for all applicants through until the end of February 2017, starting December 1.
This news seems to have slipped under the carpet when the government announced that Visa on Arrival (VoA) fees for 19 nations would be reduced from 2,000 to 1,000 baht.
The notice below has been posted by numerous Thai embassy websites including Washington DC, Tel Aviv and Penang outlining the order from the Ministry of the Interior.
The price of a Single Entry tourist visa is around £25 / $40 and allows a stay of up to 60 days in the Kingdom which can be extended for a further 30 days at an immigration office for 1,900 baht.
