Friday Report

Today at the Chang International Circuit saw the completion of qualifying for the Buriram 6 Hours event to take place on Saturday with the race starting at midday.  The qualifying was a really close affair with the Jackie Chan DC Racing car #8 taking the pole position by just 1/9000ths of a second with a lap time of 1:25.597 driven by Thomas Laurent.  The race tomorrow will also hopefully be a close run race.
Also on the schedule today were 4 races of the F4 SEA open wheel racers.  The series was developed for up and coming young drivers to compete in a lower cost series.  Todays racing was dominated by 15 year old Belgian Ugo De Wilde who won 3 of the 4 races.  The first race was won by Chinese driver Daniel Cao.  The final race is on Saturday with the Belgian stating from 5th place on the grid, he will have a lot to do to finish the 5 race series with victory number 4.

And finally race 1 of the Special AWD cars was won by Weerakarj Dokchan, race 2 is also on Saturday.

On another note Children’s Day preparation in front of the circuit is taking shape with plenty of activities for all of the kids.  It is going to be a very busy day tomorrow (today)at the Chang International Circuit.
