Tomorrow (Friday 12th of December) sees the eagerly awaited grand opening of Silachai Go Kart in Buriram.
4.00pm is the official start time for members of the public to come down and see what the very first Go-Kart track in Buriram has to offer.
For those of you who are more adventurous a race is happening all day.
Budding competitors can register at 10.00am in the morning. Heats will be held throughout the day and the final race will be held some time after the grand opening in front of all who have come to see the new track.
Once the final race is over and the Champion of the new track crowned, us less talented riders will be able to try out the track first hand under its excellent flood lit facilities.
The Impressive Track From The Air
Riders can keep going on the track until 10:00pm.
Sustenance at the grand opening event will be provided on their large, terraced Barbecue and Beer Bar area. You can enjoy a draft Chang along with any barbecue of your own choice.
A live band will also be providing music and atmosphere long into the night.
Go Karts at The Buriram Track
The Karts can go up to a speed of 60km/ph which should provide for a surely thrilling ride. Packing 250cc under their bonnets, the acceleration ability of the little beasts should also be something to behold.
Prices For Racing:
50 baht for 4 minutes
200 Baht for 16 minutes
After 16 minutes you are sure to be tired and ready for a beer/barbecue session.
