Buriram Times reporters Colin and Steve met up with our pals from Down-Under, 16 year old rider Broc Pearson, his dad Ian and his mentor/coach Alex Cudlin.

Broc raced on Saturday and will be back on the track on Sunday in the Asia Dream Cup 250 cc race. He currently stands 3rd in the championship and he is still considering which class he will ride in next year. However, he is pretty sure he will not be in this series.

The race programme started with National races for 300 cc and then a race for 125 cc machines.

The first ARRC race was the 250 Dream Cup. Broc Pearson unfortunately crashed out from 2nd position on the 2nd lap. The race was won by Somma of Inndonesia from Nakamura of Japan with another Indonesian Fabiansyah in 3rd place.

The Suzuki Challenge race also had two Indonesian riders on the podium in 1st & 3rd place with the 2nd place going to an Indian rider.

The Asia Production 250cc race was excellent from start to finish with a few spills on the infamous turn 12, the final corner on the circuit.

The podium saw two Thai riders present. Anupab in first & Peerapong in 2nd position, with 3rd place going to Nakamura of Japan.

The last race saw the big bikes, the 600cc Supersports take the track. This turned out to be a great race for the Thai Yamaha team which saw its 3 team riders in 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Antony West enjoying the moment.
