Thai League 1 Round-Up And Table

It was an excellent weekend for leaders Buriram United as they thumped Navy 4-0 away with Diogo netting a hat-trick.

It got even better for the champions as rivals Bangkok United were defeated 2-1 at home by Pattaya after taking the lead. Third placed Thai Port found themselves a goal down at home to Sukhothai who then had their keeper sent off in first-half stoppage time. An own-goal brought the home side level only for Bonilla to net his second. Port were rescued from an embarrassing defeat by a stoppage time equalizer.

Muang Thong continue to lose ground on the leaders as they were held 0-0 at struggling Ubon.

Chiang Rai had a narrow 2-1 win at home to Suphanburi and Chainat had a routine home victory over rock-bottom Air Force by 2 goals to nil.

Chonburi found themselves a goal down at home to Police Tero but hit back with three second-half goals for a 3-1 victory. Alves scored twice. Nakhon Ratchasima won a close encounter with Ratchaburi 2-1 and Prachuap had a 1-0 win over Bangkok Glass to leave the big boys deep in relegation trouble.
