Travel options to and from Buriram have never been better.

The respected bus company provide a comfortable, direct ‘Gold Class’ service to and from Bangkok – with large comfy seats, food and drink and bathroom facilities.
NCA has opened its very own dedicated air con bus terminal behind the existing bus station on Thani Road.
This is a fantastic extra for travel options to and from the city. Reputedly the safest bus company in Thailand, Nakonchai Air have an excellent record of high standards. They are rigorous in their driver selection and have all of them pass a proficiency test.

Gold Class coaches leave both Buriram and Bangkok at the following times:
08:30 Arrive 14:00
09:40 Arrive 15:10
11:10 Arrive 16:40
15:10 Arrive 22:40
22:10 Arrive 03:40
00:10 Arrive 05:15.
With the introduction of new carriages even train travel may be a good, if slower option in future. The sleeper maybe a good choice if travelling late.
Buriram is a main stop on the Northeastern line. In Bangkok, trains depart at 05:45, 06:40, 10:05, 11:40, 15:20, 18:55 and three times from 20:30 to 22:30.
In Buriram, trains return to Bangkok at 06:05, 08:35, 10:30, 12:30,17:15 and four times from 20:30 to 22:50.
The trip takes around seven hours. Bangkok-bound trains also stop at Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat) and Pak Chong (Khao Yai).
From Buriram, trains run on to Ubon Ratchathani at 02:20, 03:45, 06:05, 08:35, 11:40, 13:00, 14:20, 16:30 and 23:40. They all stop in Surin and Sisaket.
You can also get good deals on a cab from Bangkok, although you pay more you can dictate your stops and travel door to door at a time that suits you.
