Nation wide fast food domineering company CP is to build a fleet of electric cars to transport its products throughout Thailand.
Getting it’s products to 7/11 stores in the main object of the operation.
Cho Thavee Dollasien, a local transport manufacturer, has struck a deal with the food giant to construct it’s e-fleet which will deliver CP’s processed food snacks from the central warehouse to the 8,300 7/11 stores throughout Thailand.
As well as saving costs the project is part of a drive for the “7 Go Green” campaign.
The fleet is anticipated to be the first of it’s kind in Thailand (all electric) for commercial purposes.
Completion is expected in a short time frame, with the final product thought to be available some time in 2016.
