The monthly meeting of the Buriram Angling Club went well last Thursday afternoon at Jimmy’s Sports Café, with 9 members and a guest in attendance.

Mr Winyoo Potiwong, owner of the Buriram Monster Fishing Park was also there to address the gathering with regard the facilities at the park and provide information of his supersize monster fish that he has stocked in his beautiful lake.

The meeting went on for some time, with popular local fisherman John Noble giving away some of his local knowledge of other special locations which would be of interest to the members.

In fact the following day the two Johns, Noble and MacDonald, went along to Pla Sawio in Surin and enjoyed a good day’s fishing (see lead photo) and will be reporting back to the members in due course.

The club is going from strength to strength and new members will be made most welcome.
