Atrocious weather conditions.
Race day on Sunday presented the worst weather conditions we have ever witnessed here. It was cold, wet and windy which provided some close, exciting races. However, it also provided plenty of spills with riders sliding off their bikes.
Stewart Johnson
The 400CC ST3  race featured 15 year-old Stewart Johnson who was riding in only his second race. Starting from 13th on the grid he powered to a creditable 7th place. This was a great result considering he only had time to have a “wet” tyre fitted on the front resulting in a few slides due to the “dry” tyre on the back.
Gary Johnson
The 1000cc combined ST1 & ST2 race brought together three of our other featured riders. Gary Johnson slid off in the warm-up lap but was able to restart after some hasty repairs to finish in 11th place.
Colin Butler
Colin Butler had a very good ride and finished in 3rd place.

The star of the race was however Ben Fortt who mastered the wet conditions to win by an amazing 33 seconds from Anon Sangwan who started from pole and has won this year’s series.

Ben Fortt

This result took Ben to the runner-up spot in the series.
